Wing IDE is an IDE designed specifically for the Pythonprogramming language. Wing IDE is offered in a paid Pro version and in free Personal and 101 versions.
To set up your Wing IDE installation to use Anaconda:

Navigate to the Python configuration window:
- In Wing 101, in the Edit menu, select Configure Python.
- In Wing Personal and Wing Pro, in the Project menu, select Project Properties.
The Wing 101 menu looks like this:
Next to Python Executable, click the Custom radio button.
Click the Browse button and navigate to your Anaconda Python interpreter path. Script debugger 7 0 101.
For Python Path, click the Custom radio button.
Click the Insert button and browse to your Anaconda Python interpreter path.
Click the OK button:
If you are prompted to reload your Python shell, do so. After the reload, Anaconda is displayed on the Python Shell tab:
Wing IDE is now set up to Anaconda's Python.

- This feature is not available in Wing 101. Mini-search supports searching forward and backward in the current editor, documentation, Python Shell, Debug Console, or Debug I/O tool, optionally using the current selection in the editor as the search string, or using regular expression matching. You can also initiate replace operations.
- Run Wing IDE 101. If you see Python 3. In the Python Shell tab, great! If you see anything else, you'll need to configure it to use Python 3. To do this, select Edit → Configure Python and type 'python3' in the Python Executable box. Click on the Custom button. Set Wing IDE 101 to be the default program to open.py files.

The easiest way to apply patches is with Check for Updates in Wing's Help menu. To apply a patch manually, unpack it into the Installation Directory listed in Wing's About box. After restarting Wing, the About box will also show the installed patches by number.
